Food is a love language. Taking care of people through food is my greatest joy. It is my ministry.

My approach is unique - blending intuitive eating and HAES principles, AND behavioral health principles, AND clear, scientifically supported dietary recommendations. I'm way more interested in developing your nutrition confidence and competence, than tracking your compliance to a diet plan.
​
There is a multi-billion dollar diet and supplement industry that keeps us stuck in an incredibly unhealthy relationship with food, and the American food industry spends billions more on highly processed and curated foods that keep us hooked up for more. Visiting the doctor's office only to be told to "fix your diet" doesn't help a lot either.
​
My goal for you is always a more joyful, positive and productive relationship with food. My mission is to free you from the need to "eat perfectly", the need to control, restrict, resist and eliminate "bad" foods. And while we're at it, let's challenge the guilt you feel "that if you only ate right, you wouldn't be sick".

There is no one way to "eat right". There is no "correct number of calories". And sometimes when we're ill, we need to reorient our goals towards that which will keep us fueled and thriving and healing. Compassionately and gently, it is absolutely possible to create a nutrition plan that works for you, based on your preferences and capabilities. Nutrition you can LIVE with.
